Information for Workers
-
We are the first by-all-gender, for-all-gender, collectively owned Escort Agency. There are no bosses! Our goal is to take our working conditions into our own hands and turn things around. We want to raise the bar for how workers are treated across the whole industry.
We are a registered „Genossenschaft“--so each worker is also an owner, every member gets an equal part of the profits and a say in decision making. Four times per year we meet for General Assemblies, at which we make all major decisions (and eat snacks). It’s not mandatory that you attend if you’re too busy or don’t have the headspace - you can also forward your vote. The GA are a great place to meet the other workers. -
Fuck no. We want our workers who are as diverse as possible. Everyone should be able to join, that's the whole concept. It’s also important to us that all workers have equal access to good working conditions, no matter how they look. The only condition to get bookings is being registered and sharing the vision.
-
Most Escort agencies take 30-50% of the workers profits. We find that exploitative. Therefore, there are two percentage tiers:
Escorts who contribute admin labor (7%)
Escorts who do not (19%)
At least at first, all the administration of the business is done by volunteers. If you volunteer to help us with tasks such as marketing, social media, safety calls, press work, and client communication, the collective will keep only 7% of your bookings. If you don’t have time or interest in doing this work, that’s fine, no worries. Your percentage will be 19%.
Let us know if you’re interested in volunteering! -
The agency is responsible for hosting and updating your profile, advertisement, client communication, taking deposits and/or payments (and passing that on to you), keeping track of which clients are safe, and safety calls after appointments.
On top of that, we run the website, do the book keeping, PR, business registration and maintain all required licenses and other admin tasks.
You also get the chance to be part of a game-changer of a business! Our goal is to raise the bar for the entire industry by showing workers just how good their working conditions can be. -
Any worker may leave our agency at any point for any reason whatsoever. We will not try to convince you to stay or refuse to let you out of your contract. If you leave, your profile and photos will be off of our site within 2 weeks.
-
Each new worker is offered a photo shoot with our photographer, just so everything looks professional and consistent. But if you prefer to use photos from other photographers, that’s fine. Only the main profile shot should be taken with the Paramour photographer.
Each worker entirely controls all aspects of their photo shoot. You decide how you are portrayed and have absolute veto power over which photos are made public on the site.
You also get control over your own image. You can use these photos anywhere else you want to. We don’t own you or your image. This is in everyone’s contract. -
Absolutely not.
-
Everything is optional! Each worker dictates name used, pronouns, prices, what they offer and anything else.
No one else is allowed to influence your answers to these questions in any way or pressure you to give out information you’re not comfortable with. In particular, no one at Paramour will tell you which services to offer or how much money you get to charge! -
We will never force you to work if you do not want to work. We only expect you to communicate your availabilities clearly. If you ever want to or need to take a break, your profile will be taken offline.
-
Any registered* sex worker can be a member of Paramour. (*It is a problematic legal necessity of the current system that all of our members have to be registered. We consider it part of our mission to put pressure on the government to end mandatory registration.)
In a Genossenschaft, each worker becomes a member by buying a share. The share price is 100€. In order to be as inclusive as possible, we will give workers who can’t afford their share price and photo shoot themselves the option to “work off” their share price with their first bookings in a way that is financially manageable for them.
New members get initiated at a General Assembly, which happens four times a year – this is a great place to meet the other workers and learn more about Paramour.
Let’s build a better future.
